ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Auckland

Upon arrival in Auckland you will be met and greeted by our representative in the arrival hall and transferred to your hotel in a private car. Visit Sky tower in the evening (Entrance cost included) later take a short walk to Viaduct harbor.

Day 2: Auckland – Bay of Island (Paihia)

After breakfast, travel towards North over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast. The journey continues, travelling through Whangarei, Northland’s only major city and port, before arriving in the beautiful Bay of Islands. This afternoon, take a ‘Hole in the Rock and Cape Brett’ cruise (included). If you wish, you may disembark from this cruise in Romantic Russell and take some time to explore this historic town, returning to Paihia by local ferry at your leisure (ferry ticket included). SIC Customers will travel in a coach and Self-drive customers will pick up rental car from the local city branch for travel.

Day 3: Bay of Island -90 Mile beach & Cape Reinga

After breakfast, go for an exciting day as you are driven along 90 Miles Beach and the Te Paki quicksand stream. Have the chance to surf down the massive sand dunes. Onto Cape Reinga’s for spectacular view of 2 oceans merging. Visit to a factory processing century old kauri wood dug out from the swamp. Walk amongst huge Kauri trees at Puketi Forest. Evening return back to your hotel in Paihia. (Included) SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car (rental cars are not allowed on 90 mile beach)

Day 4: Bay of Island to Rotorua (Without Waitomo)

After breakfast, travel to Rotorua via Auckland. Evening at leisure. SIC customers will travel in a coach, self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

Day 5: Rotorua sightseeing

After breakfast, we proceed to AGRODOME (included) to witness the Agrodome Agricultural Show, where you will be entertained by New Zealand's performing sheep and other attractions. Later proceed to visit TE-PUIA thermal village (included) known for its hot springs, geysers and boiling mud pools. Watch the Maori craftsmen and learn about the traditional arts of carving and weaving and RAINBOW SPRINGS (included) to see the flower and fauna of New Zealand. Evening at leisure. SIC customers will travel in a coach, self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

Day 6: Rotorua - Christchurch

After breakfast at Hotel’s restaurant, SIC transfer to Rotorua airport and board your flight to Christchurch (flight not included), upon arrival SIC transfer to travel to your hotel. Self-drive customers travel to airport in their rental car in Rotorua, drop the car at Rotorua branch, fly to Christchurch (flight not included), upon arriving pick up their rental car in Christchurch to drive to their hotel. Evening at leisure

Day 7: Christchurch sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy the morning city tour covering Cathedral Square, Bridge of Remembrance, Avon River Art’s Centre and museum. See beautiful Mona Vale Garden, Hagley Park and from the Sign of the Takahe, you have a spectacular view over the city, Canterbury Plains to the Alps (included).
SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car. Evening at leisure.

Day 8: Christchurch-Glacier region via Greymouth (Tranz Alpine Train will be only for SIC clients)

After breakfast, today morning travel over Canterbury plains and ascend through lush beech forest and alpine village of Arthur’s pass in Tranz Apline train (seat in coach passengers only) to reach Greymouth. Travel south to reach Glacier region. SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

Day 9: Glacier region – Queenstown

After breakfast, travel past the native forest, lakes and mountains of Glacier region and drive past lake Wanaka before reaching the alpine resort Queenstown. SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

Day 10: Milford sound day tour

After breakfast, we head to MILFORD SOUND CRUISE (included). This famous cruise gives you an opportunity to see MITRE PEAK which is just out of the water and mile high. Go exploring with a nature guide in the tender vessels and kayaks. You may see fur seals lazing on the rocks and lots of sea birds and numerous waterfalls. Return back to the hotel in the evening. ) SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car

Day 11: Queenstown day free for optional activities

After breakfast, you have an option to enjoy the exciting SHOTOVER JET BOAT RIDE, LEDGE BUNGY JUMP, RIVER RAFTING, SKY DIVING Etc (activities not included)

Day 12: To Christchurch via MT Cook

After breakfast, check out from hotel and leave for Christchurch. Travel past Central Otago plains and lake Pukaki before reaching Mt Cook. Continue your journey via Lake Tekapo and Caterbury plains before reaching the garden city Christchurch. SIC Customers will travel in a coach, Self-drive customers will travel in their rental car.

Day 13: Departure day

After breakfast SIC customers will be transferred to airport in a shared vehicle. Self-drive customers will travel their rental car, drop the car at airport branch and board your flight for onward journey (flight not included)

IMP Note:

** Package is based on 02 OR 04 OR 06 adults (As per the option) travelling together on the same flight.
** Child cost / seat is NOT included in the package.
** Package is Valid for travel between 1st April 2018 and 30th Sep 2018.
** Package is NOT valid for New Year, Chinese New Year or for any special events in New Zealand; there will additional surcharge applicable on the top of the package.
** Package may not be applicable if hotel require minimum number of nights for certain days (Especially for the events & New Year period).

** On Self-drive option: Clients will pick up the car on arrival from the airport, hence there will be NO assistance available.

Optional tours / activities are not included in the package (will be on additional cost).

Self Drive: Rental car pick up & drop off time is calculated on the basis of 24 hrs, in case of delays one day extra rental will be charged.

Rental vehicles not drive or take the vehicle on the following roads:

(a) Ball Hutt (Mt Cook);
(b) Skippers (Queenstown);
(c) 90 mile beach (Northland)

Please Note:

Hotels mentioned in the itinerary are indicative they will be subject availability at the time of booking. Same or similar hotels will be provided.
Changes to itinerary and number of persons will require a revised quote.
Package is NOT valid during any special event in NZ.
Package is valid for mentioned dates only, hotels and activities will be subject to availability at the time of booking.

Rental car / Self drive:

Client will be required to present his/her driver’s license (Indian) with driver’s photograph, Age clearly mentioned and it must be in English to the rental car company in order to claim the vehicle.
Driver must carry a valid Credit card with enough funds(almost NZ$4,000) to pay a security bond at the time of collecting the vehicle without a valid Credit card a car can-not be hired and no refunds will be made for cancellation.

On self drive: clients will need to carry a valid credit card with enough funds for bond (Cash bond will not be acceptable by rental car company), also need to carry valid full driving licence (should be in clear English).Toll, Parking and Fuel is NOT including in the cost. Rental car Rate Includes: GST, Unlimited Kilometers, Loss Damage Waiver (Standard Basic Insurance) and NZ Road maps

Rental car Rate Excludes: GPS, Airport fees, Comprehensive insurance, Parking, Fuel, Fines, ferry terminal pick up fee, Ferry transfer, premium location surcharge, 24 hrs roadside assistance, Toll taxes, Snow chain and One way fees if any.
